Connor serves primarily the appliance and automotive markets with a broad range of rubber, metal and plastic components and assemblies.
Appliance Market
The Company segments its appliance product offering into two distinct sub-markets: 1. Water delivery; and 2: Motor assembly. The primary products sold into the water delivery market are steel hose couplings while the primary products sold into the motor assembly market are fractional horsepower electric motor cushion and mounting rings (generally consisting of solid rubber or rubber encapsulated metal rings) and accompanying steel sleeves on which the magnets are attached. The appliance mounting rings provide a dual purpose in that they both support the electric motors within the appliance mountings while also absorbing motor vibrations. The Company’s appliance products are used in a variety of appliances including clothes washers and dryers, dish washers, air conditioners, furnaces and refrigerators.
Automotive Market
The primary products sold into this market are rubber encapsulated engine components, boots, bumpers, grommet assemblies, gaskets and seals.
General Industrial Markets
Through our Far East partners we also have the ability to produce plastic products such as fuel sensor components, computer parts, meter housings, valve cover gaskets, pump seals, PVC valves and connectors and environmental control components. And finally, a rapidly expanding aspect of the Company’s product offering is metal parts. We are now able to provide metal components that may require stamping, lathe turning, milling, hole drilling, cross or straight knurling, tapping or polishing. Materials used include brass, stainless steel, carbon steel, low carbon steel and aluminum.
