William S. Esther

President and CEO

Mr. Esther has 39 years of progressive operational and sales experience in both public and private companies. He has worked with such companies as Manville Corporation and Johnson and Johnson in various plant Superintendent and divisional Director of Manufacturing and Engineering roles. From 1992 to 1998, Mr. Esther was involved in the plastic injection molding industry in the capacities of General Manager and Vice President of Operations. Since 1998, Mr. Esther has been employed by Connor as its President and was instrumental in developing its Far East connection utilizing his extensive experience in this area. He was named Chairman of the Board in late 2002. Mr. Esther holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Georgia, and has attended the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

Jack R. Lawson

Vice President and CFO

Mr. Lawson has 36 years of progressive financial and business experience. He began his career with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Co. CPA’s then spent 22 years with Essex Group, Inc., a $2 billion manufacturer of electrical wire and cable. While at Essex, he held increasingly responsible positions in accounting, treasury, financial planning and public reporting (SEC) culminating in the acting capacity of Chief Accounting Officer for the last six years of his tenure. Mr. Lawson joined Connor Corporation in 2001 as their Vice President/Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Lawson is a CPA and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University and an MBA from Notre Dame University where he graduated with High Honors.

Carol R. Barthold

Customer Service Manager

Mrs. Barthold has been with Connor Corporation since 1978, bringing with her broadening expertise in customer relations, logistics and product distribution.  Before joining Connor’s management team as its Customer Service Manager, she also served as Assistant to the GM, Purchasing Agent and Office Manager.  Mrs. Barthold also serves as one of the company’s internal auditors, a key position in retaining Connor’s ISO 9001 Certification.  Before her employment with Connor, Mrs. Barthold worked for BHL Manufacturing, on their assembly line for the Ohio Art company.  Her 33 years of experience within the industry and continually demonstrated dedication to our clients, makes her a valued member of Connor’s management team.
